Asia is set to birth the next economic powerhouses. So why aren't more Asian leaders filling top positions in global organisations?
I wrote Asians in Charge to showcase what Asian Leaders need to do to fill more top leadership positions in global companies – how to operate at a higher level, how to gain trust, and how to be better stewards compared to the current operating behaviour that is biased mostly towards execution.
This is a topic close to my heart as I consider myself a reluctant and insecure Asian leader who had to work, and continues to work, my way out of some of the common shortfall behaviours that I share in the book – taking orders and not leading, not speaking or showing up, staying in the narrow lane of execution vs thinking bigger and bolder, as just some examples.

It has been a difficult journey for me, but one that I’ve overcome, and my desire is to make this a bit easier for our next set of global Asian leaders.

My desire is to use this platform to keep the conversation going on how we can keep Asian Leadership at the forefront. Do get a copy of the book and let me know your thoughts or provide any comments.

Also, if you think you or your teams would benefit from executive coaching or mentoring on this topic, please contact me and we can have a further discussion on what your needs might be.
